For 55 years, at Internacional Farmacéutica and its Atramat brand, we have contributed to improving the lives of millions of patients around the world, producing surgical products of the highest quality for the benefit of thousands of surgeons and millions of patients, becoming one of the largest suppliers of surgical sutures in the world, selling to more than 80 countries through a global network of expert business partners.

Our Quality Management System meets the requirements of ISO 13485: 2016; We have the Certifications under the MDSAP scheme (Medical Device Single Audit Program) and Good Manufacturing Practices issued by the Ministries of Health of Mexico (COFEPRIS) and Brazil (ANVISA). In addition, we comply with the standards of numerous regulatory jurisdictions, including the United States of America FDA and the Health Canada. Finally, our products have the CE mark that indicates that they comply with the regulations for medical devices of the European Union and have the approval by the FDA (510k), which allows us to market the Atramat brand in various markets.

We are a Mexican company whose work ethic, customer service and logistics have allowed a close relationship with our national and international business partners, strengthening the reliability of our products; which, together with the constant training of surgeons and nurses in our extensive portfolio, have made Atramat a brand with high worldwide recognition. And now, we are proud to be a fundamental part in the ATRAMAT SANTEC joint venture as we further expand our European manufacturing and distribution while adding more specialized medical devices to our ever growing portfolio.

We continue to innovate in our product lines with our ADVANCED LINE of non-absorbable and absorbable sutures, our PLUS antibacterial coating line and, our knotless wound closure devices; as well as the families of surgical hemostats and minimally invasive devices.
